Lewis was a renowned scholar of Medieval and Renaissance literature who held prestigious positions at both Oxford and Cambridge Universities. Having rejected belief in God as a teenager, he later returned to Christianity in part influenced by his friend and fellow Oxford professor, J.R.R. Tolkein.
After his conversion, Lewis became an influential defender of the Christian faith with his writings still inspiring people today.
These videos add creative doodles to the audio of selected essays by Lewis in order to make them easier to understand.
